Breast explantation is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of breast implants, either for health, aesthetic or personal reasons. This treatment is ideal for those who wish to return to a natural state or who experience discomfort associated with implants, such as ASIA syndrome or capsular contracture.
- Improvement in general health: Reduction of possible symptoms associated with implants.
- Natural look: Restore your body's natural shape and proportion.
- Emotional relief: Take a step towards self-care and peace of mind.
- Personalized recovery: We adapt each treatment to your needs.
Breast explantation is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia. During the surgery:
1. incision: a discrete incision is made, usually in the crease under the breast or around the areola.
2. Removal of the implants: The breast implants are carefully removed, making sure to remove the capsule of scar tissue that may have formed around them (if necessary).
3. Tissue correction: Depending on the case, a PERIAREOLAR CLOSURE, SURROUNDING THE AREOLA, a mastopexy (breast lift) may be performed to reposition and give a natural shape to the remaining breast tissue WITH AN INVERTED T-CYCATRIX, AND FAT LIPOTRASFERRING TO IMPROVE THE BREAST SHAPE.
Closure: Incisions are closed with fine sutures to minimize scarring and allow for optimal recovery.
The procedure is customized according to the needs and goals of each patient, always prioritizing safety and well-being.
Recovery after breast lipoplasty requires care and rest. Some key care includes:
- Initial rest: For the first few days, avoid strenuous physical activity. It is normal to experience some swelling and tenderness.
- Wearing a special bra (BRASIER): It is essential to wear a post-surgical bra that provides adequate support while the tissue adapts.
- Incision care: Keep the area clean and follow medical instructions to avoid infection and facilitate healing.
- Avoid physical exertion: During the first weeks, avoid heavy lifting or sudden movements.
- Follow-up visits: Keep all scheduled appointments to make sure your recovery is on track.
Each patient receives personalized instructions based on his or her case to ensure a safe and comfortable recovery.
The final result will depend on factors such as the initial size of the implants, the time they were used and the quality of the breast tissue. In general:
- Natural appearance: the breasts recover a more natural shape and in accordance with the body.
- Possible sagging: In some cases, there may be loss of volume or sagging. This can be corrected by mastopexy during the procedure.
- Minimal scarring: Scars are usually discreet and fade over time.
- Overall improvement in well-being: Beyond physical appearance, many patients experience relief from implant-related symptoms and an increase in personal confidence.
